Kate Estes, English and History Teacher
Ms. Estes, a lawyer, has a wide range of teaching experience, from preschool to university level.  She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Southern Mississippi in Psychology and Child Development and graduated from Florida Coastal Law School Magna Cum Laude.  After completing law school, she worked in the legal field and is now returning to teaching.

Ana Montorio - Panama City Renaissance School Spanish Teacher
Ana Montorio, Spanish Teacher
Ms. Montorio, an educator from Spain, has been teaching language arts for 18 years. Her assignments have included work with grade school – high school age children.  During her career, she has taken several remote teaching assignments including one in the US and one in England. In addition to her undergraduate degree she has certifications in Spanish, English and French and a specialization in music.
Sonia Song, Pre-K4 and First Grade Teacher
Sonia Song is in her third year at the PCRS and was a recipient of teaching excellence awards in 2006 and 2007.  She is a native Mandarin speaker with a degree in education.  In additional to a strong teaching background and an exceptional ability to work with young children, she has 4 years of laboratory science work experience and is an accomplished musician.

Juliann Talkngton - Panama City Renaissance School Administrator
Juliann Talkington, Administrator
Juliann Talkington has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and graduate degrees from Stanford, Columbia and the University of London. She has a strong administrative background and teaching, science and technology, business management, mathematics and marketing experience. She is a strong supporter of the renaissance approach to education and the need for fluency in languages other than English.
Victoria Zhiqin Wu, Pre-K3 and Second Grade Teacher

Victoria Wu has BA and MA degrees from Hebei University, a California certification for teaching Chinese and over 20 years of teaching experience.  In addition, she has received many teaching awards and honors including third best instructor out of a teaching staff of over 800.  In her last assignment, Ms. Wu worked at a school in California where she taught children Mandarin and math.

Jian Yao - Panama City Renaissance School Kindergarten Teacher
Jian Yao, Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Yao is returning to the PCRS for her second year after receiving a teaching excellence award for 2007.  She has years of experience teaching in the US and in China.  She has her teaching credential from the Hebei Teacher’s College and a MA from the University of West Florida.  In addition to a patient, disciplined teaching style, she is an accomplished musician and music instructor.
