Position Summary:
Teach Mandarin Chinese language arts to elementary school children
Teach kindergarten math and science (very basic material)
Teach basic geography to elementary school aged children
All instruction will be in Mandarin Chinese
Key Requirements:
Minimum of BA or equivalent
Degree in Mandarin Chinese language arts, literature, etc. desirable
Native speaker of Mandarin Chinese
Ability to read, write and speak English
At least 2 years of teaching experience
Non-teaching work experience desirable
Minimum of 100 hours experience with preschool/elementary school children desirable
Compensation:
190 day assignment
Starting compensation $36,000 - $47,400 DOE (approx. cost of living adjusted compensation in San Francisco, CA $53,500 – $73,000)
