US jobs are moving overseas and those that remain in the US require considerable interface with people from other cultures. With this shift US citizens are expected to live and work in other countries. To make matters more challenging, education outside the US is generally more rigorous and US students often have difficulty competing with young people elsewhere. As globalization progresses, more and more jobs will require a better, broader education than is typically available in the US.
